2020 COVID-19 Action Plan

To our valued Film Trade Family,

If you are like us, your email inbox has been flooded by communications from companies detailing their responses to the coronavirus. We would like to assure you that Film Trade is taking all necessary measures and precautions to combat the potential spread of this situation. We’ve added several extra measures on top of our current sanitation practices. Wiping down and sanitizing with disinfectant upon every turn-in and drop-off for rentals. Along with the following list of procedures:

GUIDANCE FOR GUESTS AND STAFF

•  Film Trade has mandated that any employee who feels ill is excused from work and should not come to the rental house. 

•  We urge all potential guests and customers to stay at home and seek medical assistance if they are not feeling well. 

ENHANCED RENTAL & WAREHOUSE CLEANING

•  Film Trade’s team is following stringent health and safety cleaning protocols, which include that every warehouse space as well as any piece of leaving and returning equipment is thoroughly cleaned between each and every rental.

•  In addition, Film Trade has instituted enhanced cleaning protocols, which ensure that at least once per hour within a Film Trade building, the FT team is cleaning high-touch point areas, including: counters, restroom areas, glass, handrails, and doorknobs. As well as installing sanitation stations throughout the entire warehouse and on each truck. 

We’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities' guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, and we’ve reinforced existing Film Trade policy encouraging employees who exhibit flu-like symptoms to stay home and consult with a medical professional. Additionally limiting business travel and encouraging employees to leverage technology to hold business meetings whenever possible.
